Our main centre is at Lot PT 4773-B, Mukim Padang Pak Amat, 16800 Pasir Puteh. We are open every day from 9am to 10.30pm, so you can come after work, after school pick-up or after Isyak. Parking is available right outside.

If Pasir Puteh is too far, our team also sees patients by appointment at Klinik Etika Kota Bharu, Jalan Dusun Muda. Sessions there cover assessment, manual therapy and a guided exercise plan.

How your first visit works

Every first visit starts with an assessment by our doctor, Dr Ahmad Mustaqim (Dr Qim), together with our physiotherapists Hasnida, Nuraneesha and Anis Qistina. We ask how the pain started, test movement, strength and nerves, and use musculoskeletal ultrasound when it helps to see the muscle, tendon or joint.

We then explain what we found in plain language, start treatment in the same session where suitable, and teach you a few exercises to do at home. Bring any X-ray, MRI report or doctor's letter you already have. We do not do X-ray or MRI at the clinic.

Treatment options

Hands-on care and exercise are the base of every plan. Depending on your condition, the team may add:

• Super Inductive System (SIS), an electromagnetic stimulation machine
• High Intensity Laser Therapy (HILT)
• Shockwave therapy and TENS

Machines support the plan; they do not replace exercise. Results differ from person to person, so we review your progress at each visit.

Insurance, takaful and PERKESO

We are not a cashless panel for private insurance or takaful. You pay at the clinic and we give you the documents to claim yourself; see physiotherapy insurance claims. Jom Physio is a PERKESO panel centre, but PERKESO treatment needs a referral from a PERKESO Case Manager (PERKESO).

When to go to hospital first

Go to the nearest emergency department if pain follows a serious accident, or comes with weakness or numbness in both legs, numbness around the genitals or anus, or new problems controlling your bladder or bowels. These need urgent medical care before physiotherapy.
